National nature reserve Podskalský Roháč
Above Podskalie village, 720 metres above sea level, a hill called Podskalský Roháč shows its peak and together with its neighbouring hill Veľké skaly they form a rock ridge with particularly rugged relief. We can admire its massive rock towers, slim needles resembling horns of a bull, wide and almost perpendicular rock walls, and smaller rock windows. If you can manage it through here and there challenging climb, you will be rewarded with a view of Strážovské hills, Little Fatra, White Carpathians, and Považská Bystrica. Be careful not to damage any flower because this territory represents the highest level of protection
