Monument to fallen partisans
The monument dedicated to fallen partisans is located above the village on a hill called Hôrka and it is the dominant of Vrchteplá village. It is located on a place where partisans who died in the surrounding hills during the Slovak national uprising were buried after the liberation in 1945. Former participants of guerrilla fighting meet together with people who want to honour the memory of heroes of anti-fascist resistance at their final resting place mainly on days of the Slovak national uprising anniversary.
