The memorial room which was established in the area of primary school in Plevník-Drienové illustrates life and work of this writer and dissident who had first-hand experiences with all social turns. The exposition consists of 12 displays which provide us information about Tatarka′s private and public life through photographs, articles, various documents, and manuscripts. The personal correspondence lets us know about the author’s literary beginnings and personal sufferings. The interior of the memorial room is appropriately refilled by graphics of Vladimír Kompánka. On the occasion of the memorial room opening, a bust of Dominik Tatarka was revealed near the school, where the park was created under his name. The memorial was revealed by his long-time friend Václav Havel.
