PX Centre is a contributory organization of Považská Bystrica city which was established on 1.7.1997. This organization secures cultural-social events in the city and in its suburban parts. Mier cinema seats in this organization and it also includes a tourist informational office which also seats in the premises of Mier cinema and a city folklore studio as well. PX Centre secures the operation of the cinema and manages 10 cultural houses in the city parts. City days belong among the largest events secured by PX Centre as well as Helena feast celebrations, Považskobystrický fair, Christmas markets and New Year’s Eve. In addition to these events, the centre organizes many smaller events.
